File Storage- MediaFire

Prior to beginning this course I had no idea that files could be stored online for free. I was pleased to discover ‘MediaFire’. MediaFire enables users to upload files to the internet and share them with others. Once files are uploaded they can be linked to a website, blog or wiki for anyone to download.

MediaFire eliminates the frustration of not being able to attach large files to emails. Users can simply insert a link to the file in their emails. Uploading files to MediaFire is a relatively easy and fast process.

MediaFire is a versatile tool for educators. MediaFire enables documents, photos, presentations, etc. to be easily shared amongst peers. MediaFire could be used for educators to share resources with each other. MediaFire could facilitate easier access to resources in the ‘learning resource’ stage of Oliver’s “Learning Design Framework” (1999).
